Three Sisters Bench Red

Bench Red

Our 2015 Bench Red is a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Franc. Well-balanced with dark cherry and blackberry notes and a hint of spice on both the nose and palate. The finish is a smooth and velvety with great length and refined tannins.

Enjoy with grilled red meats such as a juicy steak or with one of our favourites, spaghetti Bolognese.

I bought this wine after tasting it at a farmers market in Squamish, must say I am disappointed.

We enjoyed this wine with a casual steak dinner and it was truly awesome. The high blend of Cab Franc adds a nice touch. At the $20 price point, my wife and I have decided to rate it 5 stars and buy a case.

We enjoyed our visit at Three Sisters Winery in September. We loved the Bench Red so much we ordered a case when we got home. Both the experience and wine is excellent.

The Bench Red is one of the best red wines I have tasted. So good that we ordered a case in October after our visit to the winery and another case in January! Everyone I have shared this wine with agrees.

This is our third case of Bench Red since visiting Three Sisters in September 2016. We absolutely love it! We are now officially Wine Club bound.

Basic red blend simple goes with pasta pizza. Not as good as the Tempranillo which was fantastic.
